The card I made for today's white space challenge may be considered cheating because I used a very pretty, but very patterned paper. Because of the colors it is toned down a little bit, but I just couldn't force myself to use a plain piece of paper as the background. Especially since I was challenging myself to use older paper that I have instead of my new stuff. I think it came out very pretty, I'm loving the colors! All of the stamps that I used are from The {Stamps} of Life. If you didn't visit when I put the link in the post the order day, there is also a blinkie in my side bar that will take you to her website. Warning: You will be hooked! Her stamp sets are so pretty, so versatile, affordable, and great quality!

OK, I'm off. Hubby is finishing putting up the new projector screen so that we can actually watch a movie on our projector for the first time since we moved into the new house! I hope everyone had a great Friday. I met a friend for lunch and some shopping at the mall and then went an got a massage. It was a great day out, but unfortunately I got nothing accomplished in my craft room except this card. I have a feeling it's going to be a busy weekend! Have a great weekend everyone!
Edit: I'm also linking this card up to the Sisterhood of Scrap Blog Hop: Marker Challenge. I used my SU! markers on all the stamps. The one in the center of the middle circle was just one stamp so I colored it using Chocolate Chip and Tempting Turquoise.
Beautiful! That background paper is wonderful, soooo pretty! And hey - you didn'd decorate that, so I'd say it's white space, only more beautiful!
ReplyDeletea very sweet card
